Popular uptown pub crawl cancels 2020 event, looks ahead to 2021

CHARLOTTE — Organizers with Rich and Bennett’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl have officially canceled plans for this year’s event.

The March event had been postponed to June 27 but on Friday, organizers announced via social media that the event would not be held this year.

“It breaks our hearts to write this, but given the current situation with COVID-19, we are postponing the 20th annual St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl until March 13, 2021.”

Tickets/shirts purchased for the 2020 event will remain valid for next year’s event.

Refunds are also available and should be requested by June 26.
