HICKORY, N.C. — Winter weather caused a power outage Wednesday afternoon that’s affecting Channel 9′s signal in the Hickory area.
Channel 9′s transmitter on Smith Mountain serves the Morganton-Hickory area. WSOC-TV engineers are aware of the issue, and it is primarily affecting the over-the-air signal for Channel 9 and TV64.
We don’t have an estimated timeline for a repair, but you can watch Channel 9′s newscasts live on this website or with the WSOC-TV app.
