Refuge Church hosts 2nd annual Easter egg hunt in Kannapolis

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. — Kids in Kannapolis got into the Easter spirit on Saturday with the Refuge Church’s second annual ‘Egg Hunt for the Community’.

The Refuge Church invited children ages 2–11 to take part in the holiday activity and divided the field into three sections according to age: 2–5, 6–8, and 9–11.

Families met at the Atrium Health Ballpark at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday to join the 2-hour egg hunt, where over 13,000 eggs were scattered on the outfield.

In addition to the egg hunt, there were many other activities, like family game stations, a bounce house, balloon animals, live bunnies, food, and drinks.
