Report: Man climbs out of hospital window, falls 3 stories

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man fell three stories while trying to climb down from a hospital window, according to a police report.

Barton Steven Simmons survived but has several broken bones from the fall at Carolinas Medical Center- Main.

It is unclear why he climbed out of the window.
