CORNELIUS, N.C. — Rescue crews found a missing jet skier after an hours-long search on Lake Norman Saturday night.
Cornelius police said she was reported missing around 6:15 p.m. and was missing for three hours before being located by search crews near the Penisula Yacht Club.
Officials said the woman was with a group when she got separated and was not familiar with the lake.
Police said during the search, 11 boats were searching for the missing woman.
No other information has been released.
