CHARLOTTE — The group Riding 22 in 22 VSA came through Charlotte Sunday on their annual trip.
The group helps veterans with peer support and covers the cost of travel for those seeking mental health treatment.
Each year, they travel across 22 states in 22 days.
The number 22 is also the average of veterans who lose their lives to suicide each day.
