Road closures announced for Moorseville Christmas Parade Tuesday

MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Road closures are expected to start earlier than usual for the Moorseville's 68th Annual Christmas Parade on Tuesday.

Starting at 3 p.m. the Oasis Shriners kickoff parade will make its way down Main Street from Statesville Avenue to College Street, followed by the town parade at 3:30.

The Department of Transportation will close Main Street from 2-7 p.m. and redirect traffic around the staging area.

The cross streets along the route also will close.
