GASTONIA, N.C. — Police officials say a semi-truck was hit by a train at the intersection of Poplar Street and Airline Avenue in Gastonia on Saturday.
Luckily, police say the driver of the semi-truck was able to get out of the vehicle and wasn’t hurt.
Officials say the intersection will be closed for some time.
