CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police have charged a second man in connection with the death of Darian Curry.
Detectives charged Marsean Omar Allison, 24, as the second suspect in the case.
During the investigation, detectives identified Allison as the second person of interest in the case and obtained warrants for his arrest.
Police located and arrested Allison without incident.
He was transported to police headquarters where he was interviewed by detectives.
Allison was charged with murder, attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, possession of firearm by a convicted felon, and discharging a weapon into occupied vehicle inflicting serious bodily injury.
Allison was then transferred to the custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office.
This is an ongoing investigation.
