Silver Alert issued for missing Caldwell County man believed to have dementia

CALDWELL COUNTY, N.C. — A Silver Alert has been issued Wednesday for a missing Caldwell County man believed to have dementia.

Officials are asking for the public’s help finding 88-year-old Robert Castle, who is believed to have dementia or another cognitive impairment.

Castle is described as having brown eyes, short gray hair, weighs 170 pounds and is 5 feet 9 inches tall.

He was last seen at a home on Rockford Place in Lenoir and may be headed to Coffee House on Connelly Springs Road in a gray 2004 Toyota Avalon with North Carolina license plate number VVM1414.

Anyone with information about Castle should call the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office at 828-758-2324.
