Officials: Shelby woman found safe after Silver Alert issued

SHELBY, N.C. — UPDATE: Officials said Mary Mckinnon has now been found.

The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert for Mary McKinnon, 75.

Police said they believe McKinnon suffers from dementia or another cognitive impairment.

She was last seen at Randolph Road Shelby, North Carolina.

McKinnon is a 5 foot 3 inch black woman weighing 110 pounds.

McKinnon’s car is a 2002 Toyota Rav 4 with North Carolina license plate number TRX9450.
