Some US cities renaming Columbus Day to 'Indigenous People's Day'

Monday is Columbus Day, but some cities in the U.S. are calling it something else.

For the first time Seattle, Minneapolis and South Dakota are calling it "Indigenous People's Day."

Supporters said it should be a day to celebrate the culture of Native Americans.

The move is part of a growing trend to shift the holiday's focus from Christopher Columbus to the people he encountered when he arrived in the new world.
