CHARLOTTE — Charlotte Water officials believe someone intentionally dumped fuel into a creek near the Pine Island Country Club off Mount Holly Road.
Workers with the Carolina Environmental Response Team said they were called out to clean up a large gas spill in northwest Charlotte.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg is investigating, according to city officials.
No further information has been released.
