CHARLOTTE — Eight families were displaced Monday night after a fire swept through an apartment building in south Charlotte, officials said.
The blaze broke out at the Brook Apartment Homes off Park Road shortly after 8:30 p.m.

No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
