The characters went from room to room meeting their fans.
“I remember one of our first hospital visits,” said the woman who was dressed as Star Wars heroine Princess Leia. “We left the room and his father came out in tears, and said that was the first time that child had smiled since he'd been in the hospital.”
Thursday was also the 40th anniversary of Star Wars first premiering in movie theaters.
