Temperatures to drop into 20s Wednesday night

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The sunshine is back on Wednesday, but it is still a bit chilly.

Temperatures will drop Wednesday night in the mid to upper-20s.

The high temperature Thursday will struggle to reach the mid to upper 40s.

Things will stay dry through Friday night, with the first chance of rain coming early Saturday.

The threat of wintry weather for Saturday is slimmer.

Leftover showers could hit east of Charlotte Sunday morning.

Once the rain clears Sunday we should be storm-free well into next week.
