LOCUST, N.C. — A crash in Locust sent an SUV on top of five parked cars.
Police said the man driving the SUV fell asleep on Main Street, crossed the center line and hit a white van. That caused the SUV to go airborne and land on top of the cars.
No one was seriously hurt in the crash.
The driver will be charged with careless and reckless driving.
