CHARLOTTE — Members of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department’s SWAT team were out on an active warrant service early Wednesday morning.
Around 5:30 a.m., an alert from CMPD said the SWAT team was out on Revolutionary Road in southwest Charlotte.
A Channel 9 at the scene saw that SWAT cleared around 6 a.m. and though no entrances were blocked, CMPD officers were still on the scene. Our crew also saw at least one person being escorted from the complex in handcuffs.
