They said they were heartbroken over the situation.

“I feel like it’s a bad dream that I can’t wake up from. I went from seeing someone every day to now I won’t get to see him at all. Next time I’ll be able to see him he’s gonna be on his back ... he’s gonna be on his back,” the friend, who did not want to be identified, told Channel 9.

The friend said she has just seen the Knox and was there when the shooting occurred.

“‘Can you tell us what happened?’ I don’t want to get into details ‘cause it’s something I’ll never forget. But it’s tragic. It’s something that should never happen, something that should not went that far,” the friend to Channel 9.

The friend went on to say that they worked with Knox at Performace Friction and he would often say he was determined to make something of his life.
