CHARLOTTE, NC — An analysis of recent viewing activity on residential real estate website Zillow provides a snapshot into which Charlotte neighborhoods are drumming up the most interest.
It may not come as too much of a surprise that some of Charlotte’s more affluent neighborhoods — such as Foxcroft and Myers Park, where the median listing prices during the first three months of this year came in at nearly $1.3 million and $995,000, respectively — maintain a large presence in the ranking.
But a handful of the 20 neighborhoods listed as most popular — five, to be exact — post median list prices under $150,000.
Geographically speaking, neighborhoods west and south of uptown tend to be the most popular. Topping the list, though, is Newell South — situated north of uptown, between NoDa and UNC Charlotte, along the newly opened light-rail extension.
