CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Thieves smashed the glass in the door of a south Charlotte cellphone store with a rock and stole tens of thousands of dollars in merchandise.
They shattered the front door of the Cricket Store on South Tryon Street about 5 a.m. Sunday.
The burglars took about 50 phones valued at about $20,000 and more than $1,000 in cash.
The manager told Channel 9 this is the second time his store has been broken into.
