A search team found tissue that appears to be skin Wednesday near the site where they found a human skull and bones in Burke County.
The skin will be examined to determine if it is from a human.

Officials said they are investigating a missing person in Burke County to determine if the remains match that person.
The name of the missing person is being withheld until identification is made.
