WAXHAW, N.C. — Highway Patrol said at least one person was injured after a school bus and a car collided.
The wreck happened around 4:20 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Waxhaw-Marvin Road and Crane Road in Waxhaw.
An official with Union County Schools said the bus was rear-ended by a car. There were 60 kids on board from Marvin Ridge Middle School and the school's principal was on site. The official said there appeared to be no injuries on the bus.
