DENVER, N.C. — A business in Denver was deemed unsafe after a truck hauling a boat crashed into it.
Workers at Denver Marine scrambled to get out of the way during the accident around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The driver told Channel 9 reporter Dave Faherty his foot slipped off the brake sending his truck into the office area of the business.
One employee said it felt like the building was coming down around him.
"Getting out of there as fast as I could. Scared me to death. Haven't moved that fast in 25-years,” employee Scott Hyder said.
No one was hurt in the accident.
The Highway Patrol said the driver will be cited with making an unsafe movement.
