HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Two drivers are hurt after a pickup truck crashed into the side of a school bus Thursday afternoon in Huntersville, police said.
The crash happened around 3:45 p.m. at the intersection of Gilead Road near Ranson Road.
MEDIC said the drivers of the school bus and truck were taken to a nearby hospital but are expected to be OK.
Officials said there were students on the bus coming from Torrence Creek Elementary.
Chopper 9 Skyzoom flew over the crash, where multiple first responders were present at the scene.
The crash has caused serious backups on Gilead Road while crews investigate.
No other details have been released.
