UNC coach Roy Williams' tumor removed, not cancerous

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — The tumor that UNC basketball coach Roy Williams had removed last week was not cancerous.

Williams had the tumor removed from his right kidney.

Williams has another tumor on his left kidney that may still need to be removed.

Williams is not expected to miss many practices before the basketball season starts in October.
