U.S. Bank plots next retail branch in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE — U.S. Bancorp has selected a site for its second retail branch in Charlotte.

The 1,800-square-foot branch will be at 8334 Pineville-Matthews Road, close to the intersection with Interstate 485 and Atrium Health’s Pineville hospital. U.S. Bank is upfitting space in the shopping center there.

Construction started in June.

Vickie Harrison, U.S. Bank’s Charlotte market leader for consumer and business banking, said the location is a way to connect with the broader south Charlotte area.
