COLUMBIA, S.C. — A Rock Hill South Pointe graduate and former WSOC-TV "Big 22" player was just named "football's next bust-out player."
That is what the new cover of Sports Illustrated called Jadeveon Clowney.
The University of South Carolina posted the cover on Twitter of the defensive end Tuesday.
It is one of two versions of the cover.
Clowney led the team in sacks in 2012 with 13. He recorded 54 total tackles, which was fifth-most on the team.
The Gamecocks finished 11-2 on the season and beat Michigan 33-28 in Outback Bowl.
