CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. — On Saturday, volunteers are helping flooding victims repair their homes after last weekend's storms left destruction in Catawba County.
Billy Graham Evangelistic Ministries and Samaritan's Purse are in Conover on Saturday taking work orders.
The actual work will start on Sunday.
Last Saturday, parts of Catawba County received up to nine inches of rain over the course of a few hours.
More than 600 properties were damaged and four were destroyed.
