ANSON COUNTY, N.C. — An officer with the Wadesboro Police Department displayed an act of kindness by mowing the lawn of an older adult last week.
Lieutenant Steven Kelly assisted the older adult because they were unable to mow their lawn due to the heat.
The Wadesboro Police Department said they were not surprised by the gesture because Kelly always goes above and beyond to help those in need.
They said the Town of Wadesboro is a better place because of Kelly.
