BALD HEAD ISLAND, N.C. — It was a scary sight at a North Carolina beach when a shark was spotted thrashing around in knee-deep water where people had been swimming.

The man who shot the video above said he was in the water at Bald Head Island with friends when another man ran over, urging them to get out.
Just a minute later, they spotted the shark.

Less than a month ago, a shark bit a young girl on the leg at the same beach. After being bit, she was brought back to shore by her father on a surfboard.
Luckily, she was OK.
