CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are asking for help identifying a suspect who fired gunshots in the middle of uptown Charlotte over the weekend.
Officers released video of the shooting that happened around 2:30 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of 4th Street and Brevard Street.
They said the suspect is wearing a green T-shirt with yellow wording on it, dark pants, a ball cap and a red backpack in the video.
Police said the suspect shot a man in the back.
Officers said the victim survived and was arrested and charged with drug possession.
