CHARLOTTE — A water main break in south Charlotte disrupted traffic early Monday morning.
It happened just before 5 a.m. along Archdale Drive, according to Charlotte Water.
When Channel 9 crews arrived, a portion of Archdale Drive was blocked at Cherrycrest Lane as water spilled out onto the roadway.

Charlotte Water says customers in the area will be without water for around 6 to 8 hours while they repair the break.
