What's still to come at Rea Farms as project begins to deliver in south Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Already, the first tenants at Rea Farms in south Charlotte have moved in, and on the commercial side, some are up and running.

Master developer Lincoln Harris began construction on the 188-acre mixed-use development, at the intersection of Providence and Ardrey Kell roads, in early 2017. Developed in partnership with the Rea family and Greg Currie — who developed Charlotte Golf Links, the golf course that was redeveloped to make way for Rea Farms — the project is one of several suburban developments planned, underway or recently completed in Charlotte that incorporate a high mixture of uses.

Today, several portions of Rea Farms are still very much in construction mode, but some phases, particularly the retail village, are on the verge of opening.
