CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. — Some firefighters in Cabarrus County could lose their jobs.
The county’s Board of Commissioners will decide on Monday whether to terminate Squad 410. That’s a supplemental unit started in 2017.
Those firefighters help volunteer departments around the county with emergency response.
County officials say many of those departments are better staffed now.
Squad 410 would continue operating through October.
