KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. — A woman is charged with murder after a deadly shooting in Kershaw County Sunday night, officials said.

Investigators said Stacey Catoe, 43, was arrested Thursday in the death of Brenda Coates. They said Coates was found dead in her car with a gunshot wound to the neck.
The shooting happened on Highway 521 several miles south of Kershaw.
Sources told Channel 9 Catoe found Coates in a car with her husband before firing the deadly shots.

Investigators said the gun that was used in the crime was found in Catoe's car.
She turned herself in Thursday.
