FORT MILL, S.C. — A school crossing guard was hospitalized after being hit by a car Tuesday afternoon outside a Fort Mill elementary school.
The collision happened outside River Trail Elementary School.
According to police, the 67-year-old woman was directing traffic in the center lane when an 80-year-old woman drove into the lane and hit her.

Both the victim and the driver were taken to a hospital. Their conditions are unknown.
