CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police have arrested and charged a woman they said received Botox but did not pay for it.
Officers said 34-year-old Kelly VanHemel received $2,647 worth of Botox injections at Charlotte Plastic Surgery last week but left without paying.
Police arrested VanHemel Tuesday and charged her with felony obtaining property under false pretenses. She was booked into the Mecklenburg County Jail under a $10,000 bond.
