KINGS MOUNTAIN, NC — The Kings Mountain Police Department is trying to identify two women who kidnapped a woman from a store and forced her to drive to an ATM and withdraw cash.
It happened on March 30. Investigators say one of the suspects approached the victim inside a Roses store on Shelby Road and began talking to her before saying she had a gun and forcing her out into the parking lot.
The two suspects got into the victim's car and made her drive to a bank.
After getting cash, the victim was forced to drive to a Dollar Tree on E. King Street where the suspects got out of her car and left.
Police have released surveillance pictures of the suspects. One with short hair and a heavy build was wearing a pink medical scrubs top with blue pants and was carrying a large brown purse.
The second suspect had short hair, a medium build, and was wearing a white blouse with blue pants.
