CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A woman who faked her pregnancy then tried to steal another woman's baby will spend at least 6 years in prison.
A jury found Andrea Endara guilty of kidnapping and child abduction but couldn't reach a verdict on assault charges.

She faked her pregnancy in 2012 and befriended Carla Paz and offered to take her to work, prosecutors said.
Instead they say she beat Paz with a tire iron and took her 1-month-old daughter.
