BURKE COUNTY, N.C. — A woman who was hit by a car early Wednesday morning while walking along a Connelly Springs road, has died Highway Patrol said.
Troopers identified the woman as 26-year-old Jackie Icard.
She was walking on Rhodhiss Road when she was hit.
Troopers have not said if any charges have been filed in the case.
