YORK COUNTY, S.C. — A York County man has been arrested on charges of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, the York County Sheriff’s Office said.
The sheriff's office said investigators obtained search warrants on Timothy Ruzbacki after receiving information from another agency that he was in the possession of child porn. After further investigation, detectives said they discovered Ruzbacki had images of children engaging in sexual acts on his computer.
Ruzbacki was arrested at his home without incident, the sheriff’s office said. He will face 10 charges of sexual exploitation of a child, according to investigators.
Ruzbacki is a board member for York Prep Academy in Rock Hill, which is a public charter school.
Eyewitness News went by there Tuesday, but the campus director would not comment and the chairman of the board said he still needed time to process all this, and might comment later.
