GASTONIA, N.C.,None — Police said a man was lying in the parking lot behind a car when they arrived Wednesday.
Elvis Aaron Whitley had ripped a temporary tag off of a woman's car, torn it into three pieces then lied down on the ground in front of her car, according to arrest war-rants.
Whitley, 32, of 408 S. 10th St., was charged with being intoxicated and disruptive and injury to personal property.
He was assigned a $1,000 secured bond.
