NBA Finals on Channel 9 followed by Eyewitness News at 11 p.m.

MIAMI — The last team to beat the Miami Heat in a home playoff game was San Antonio. It happened in the first game of the NBA Finals last year.

The loss ruffled some Miami feathers as the Heat went on to win another championship.  Since that loss the Heat have won a franchise-record 11 straight home playoff games and this season are 8-0 in home playoff games.

And just how good has Miami been at home in postseason play? The Heat are 68-19 all-time at AmericanAirlines Arena for a .782 winning percentage during the postseason. Only the Lakers' .792 winning percentage at Staples Center is higher.

With all that in mind, the Spurs and Heat are set to square off again tonight in Game 3 of the NBA Finals. To the winner goes a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven series after they split the opening two games in San Antonio. Game 4 will be played in Miami Thursday night.
