DURHAM, N.C. (AP) — Officials say a Raleigh teen has drowned in a quarry at a state park near Durham.
Multiple media outlets reported that fire and rescue crews, rangers and a dive team were called to the Eno River State Park late Thursday afternoon.
Orange County authorities say the body of 17-yearold Lamont Burt was found several hours later.
Officials said Burt was swimming with friends and family when he went under and never re-surfaced.
