CHARLOTTE, N.C.,None — Uninsured children will soon have a new place to get free medical care.
On Wednesday organizers held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Pediatric Medical Clinic in east Charlotte.
The clinic on Farmingdale Drive will officially open next month and will be open three days a week.
"We've got a solution. We got a way we can reach out to children and get them the care they deserve," said Don Jonas, Executive Director of the Presbyterian Health Care Foundation.
The patients will need to make an appointment and be screened to make sure they meet the financial requirements.
