CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A new report details every crash that happened in Charlotte in the past three years.
The intersection of Harrisburg Road at Cambridge Commons Drive in east Charlotte was the most likely to see a crash.
The rankings compared the number of crashes to the traffic volume.
The next two on the list are along the same road -- second went to Eighth Street and College Street and third is Ninth Street and College. Seventh Street and College also made the top 10.
Drivers said they are not surprised. They said College Street has too much traffic and too many people walking into the paths of cars.
There were more than 14,000 crashes citywide last year, but only 44 were fatal. Half of the fatalities involved pedestrians.
The time of day most likely for a crash is 5 p.m. and the month with the most crashes was October.
