Search expands for missing NC teen

HOPE MILLS, N.C. — The Federal Bureau of Investigation in Charlotte is asking for help finding a missing North Carolina teen.

Billboards are going up around North Carolina as the search continues for 15-year-old Danielle Locklear, who has been missing since Tuesday.

She was last seen at her grandfather's house in Hope Mills.

She was supposed to be going to a nearby friend's house.

There will be an all-out search for the girl Saturday and her mother is making a desperate plea for answers.

"Anyone, anyone that could come and help," Rowna Fowler said. "Please, please I'm begging. I'm pleading. It's a cry for help now."

Family and friends will join Hope Mills police, Cumberland County detectives, and the FBI in their search for Locklear.
