STANLY COUNTY, N.C.,None — A Norwood man is charged with first-degree murder in his wife's death.
Jimmy Frick, 63, drove to Stanly Regional Medical Center on Thursday morning, went inside and told workers that his wife's body was in his pickup truck, according to police.
Investigators said nurses went to the truck and found his wife of 40 years, Jean Frick, dead. On Friday, investigators said she died from an apparent gunshot wound.
Jimmy Frick is being held in the Stanly County Jail.
