CHARLOTTE, N.C.,None — A section of Four Mile Creek Greenway was expected to close Wednesday in south Charlotte.
Crews plan to build an asphalt trail off the Bevington Place entrance, which is near the bridge between Rea and Johnston roads.
Four Mile Creek Greenway is part of the Lower McAlpine and McMullen Creek Greenway system. The three greenways run more than five miles through south Charlotte and pass under Interstate 485.
The section is expected to be reopened Sept. 20.
